Thai massage or Thai Yoga Massage originated in India around for over 2,500 years. Originally regarded as a healing art, traditional Thai massage includes influences from both Ayurvedic (Yoga postures) and traditional Chinese medicine.

Thai Yoga Massage Therapy is made with the client dressed in loose-fitting clothes, no oil is used and gentle pressure and stretching techniques are applied in order to relax, improve flexibility, energy flow and circulation in the whole body. Unlike Swedish or shiatsu massage techniques, in which a person passively lies on a bed, the client lies on the floor and participates more actively in the massage.
